IGNOU sends study materials to the students just after the confirmation of the admission. Students shall receive it from the nearest reagional center.
The students will also get support in the form of conucelling sessions, where all their doubts related to their respective programs wil be cleared by the subject experts. The university also has a provision to provide the soft copy and learners opting for the soft copy will be given 15% discount in the program fee. This can be opted by the learners while filling the online admission form. Such learners will not be given printed study materials. The self instructional materials are supplied to the students in the form of several booklets called blocks. Each block comprises several units.
The students expected to study a single unit in a session of about 4 to 6 hours. It is to be noted that studying these self instructional material alone wont be sufficient to write up the assignments and prepare for the term-end examinations. The students should also do some additional readings.
