IGNOU Distance BCA Study Materials 2023-2024
IGNOU sends study materials to the students just after the confirmation of the admission. Students shall receive it from the nearest reagional center.
Study Materials by IGNOU
IGNOU is more learner–oriented and the students have an active role in the learning and teaching process. After the confirmation of admission, the students will receive the study materials for the respective courses through the concerned learner support centers.
The university also has a provision to provide the soft copy and learners opting for the soft copy will be given a 15% discount on the program fee. This can be opted by the learners while filling out the online admission form. Such learners will not be given printed study materials. The self–instructional materials are supplied to the students in the form of several booklets called blocks. Each block comprises several units. The students are expected to study a single unit in a session of about 4 to 6 hours
. These self–instructional materials are made available both in printed and electronic form through IGNOU eContent App and the eGyankosh website. It is to be noted that studying these self-instructional materials alone won’t be sufficient to write up the assignments and prepare for the term-end examinations. The students should also do some additional readings.
